Where do we even begin… For us marriage was never a given. As a gay couple we were never sure that marriage was the right choice. But when we decided to go for it, we wanted to make it as personal - as “us” - as possible. We approached Charlotte and Carly from Hidden with a very exacting brief. Two days. Two completely different events. A family wedding, with all the trimmings of a traditional ceremony and wedding breakfast. The next day an absurd extravaganza of colour, from drag brunch and frozen margs to mariachi bands around a bonfire. All in a field in rural Shropshire.

Hidden delivered everything we asked for and more. They completely understood and embodied our vision. All along the way they had fabulous suggestions. Every detail was not only managed, but elevated. They were diligent and organised, arranging everything around us and our schedules. They respected the budget and leveraged their wide-ranging contacts to make every penny really count. And most of all they made the process fun, coming to every meeting with ideas and enthusiasm. We couldn’t have asked for more.

On the day itself, Hidden went above and beyond (with Charlotte even driving half our guests home after they missed the bus). Our friends still talk about “how cool your wedding planners were” and how lucky we were to have found them. We couldn’t agree more. The whole weekend went off without even the tiniest hitch. Throughout the whole experience we felt that we had created something seriously amazing for us and our guests, but also made friends for the future in Carly and Charlotte. We couldn’t commend Hidden enough. There’s nothing they can’t handle.
